The Newburgh Jewish Community Center provides Jewish and secular programming for a all ages, both at the Center and around the county. Federation provides funds for Purim, Passover and Chanukah programs. The Center offers children's programs for each Jewish holiday that include a story and craft pertaining to the holiday. Weekly adult art yiddish classes are ongoing and open to all levels. After school secular children's programs include painting, crafts, gardening and creative movement classes. NJCC Jewish singles meet around the county. Many friendships have formed from this growing group.

The NJCC kosher lunch program is well attended. Volunteers shop, cook and serve a home cooked lunch. The Center is now handicap accessible with a ramp. Young at Heart, a seniors group, has meetings which offer speakers and entertainment. The NJCC offers trips to various New York locations, including shows. They always provide a charter bus with lunch, a bathroom and air conditioning.
