Meet Daniel Sahalo, "Israeli Ethiopian , IDF Elite Paratrooper, Manager of Megemeria Jewelry Co. as he Reveals His Fascinating Journey from Ethiopia to Israel & Beyond"

His talk will be folloewd by a luncheon at 11:30 set up by the Men's club of Temple Sinai

Daniel Sahalo emigrated to Israel at age 5 from Ethiopia in a big airlift of  Ethiopian Jews in 1985.

He is a graduate of Hebrew University in Jerusalem, a Paratrooper in the Elite Unit of the IDF ( Israeli Defense Force) and is now manager of a Jewelry company, Megemeria that trains Israeli Ethiopians to make Jewelry . It's Parent company is called YVEL  ( Levy spelled backdwords) for its founders, Issac & Orna Levy.

The  lunch and lecture are sponsored by Yael Group,  the tour company used for Temple Sinai's recent trip to Israel. A short film will be shown about planning a private or group trip to Israel.
